How can we allocate costs for three departments that use the same multi-functional device?

SafeQ accounts printing and copying and takes care of the proper cost allocation accordingly. Therefore, there is no longer the need to record each cartridge and/or paper package provided to a user.

The accounting model of the SafeQ print solution supports accounting to users, cost centres, projects, print devices and locations (print servers).

Upon connecting SafeQ to one of the AD, NDS and LDAP systems, a real online connection may be established and information on the accounting centre may be used for the accounting of every single page and copy.

Each user may be a member of one or more groups and a single cost centre at the same time.

Information on every single page printed is recorded and made available via the web interface where it can be searched based not only on the above data.

Accounting to cost centres is also often used for print environment analyses.
