Connection of any Card Reader
We have an attendance system and would like to use our chip cards for access to printers and copiers.
Utilize the same cards as are already in use elsewhere. Just as SafeQ enables customisations, the SafeQ Terminal offers a wide range of supported card readers and connections of entirely new types. A uniform interface for the connection of the reader makes a connection of almost any type possible.

Supported readers
Around one hundred different types of readers are supported, further divided into these groups:
- contactless cards,
- contact chip cards,
- fingerprint readers,
- magnetic (pull-through) cards,
- optical recognition (barcode readers)
Apart from several reader types, you may also encounter (particularly in the Enterprise Segment) physically encrypted or customized readers. These must always be decoded by their manufacturer. There are plenty of possible connections of an external system including cards, but users must remember that the choice of a reader is and has always been the choice of the client. The SafeQ print solution has been designed to adjust to all such demands.
